EBS Food Program

In this episode, we connect with Maricelis Gonzalez, a motivated and driven woman using her love and passion to help her community and those in need by continuing her parents legacy at El Buen Samaritano Food Program Inc., a non-profit organization that first opened their doors in 1991. EBS Food Program is not only a nutritional program that provides food for families, but also offers countless resources, such as:

• Mental health assistance
• Shelter resources
• Child care resources

Maricelis provides help with whatever you might be in need of, and not just to the community of Worcester, but to anyone who needs assistance.

EBS is a place to turn to were no questions will be asked and no judgement is made, they are only there to help you. Low-income families, unemployed workers, college students, anyone who is in need, everyone is welcome at EBS with open arms. 

When visiting EBS, you are able to pick and choose what you would like to take home to your family, you are not just given a box like other assistance programs. EBS makes sure you obtain the items that are unique to your needs. Whether a family member has low blood sugar, or any health concerns were you are required to eat or not eat certain foods, you decide what foods would be best for you and your family.
